How to share a reference link

Overview

Share links let verifiers — recruiters, letting agents, accountants — view a reference without creating an account. Every link is signed, expires, and can be revoked at any time.

Create a link

Open the reference, click Share, then Create new link. You can give it a friendly label like "Acme HR Sept 2025" so you remember what it was for.

Set expiry & password

Pick an expiry between 1 and 90 days. Optionally add a one-time password the verifier must enter — this is a strong protection if the link is forwarded by email.

Share it

Copy the URL or download the QR. Verifiers see a clean read-only viewer with your verified reference, the verification badge, and a link to verify on chain.

Revoke a link

Open Share links in your dashboard and click Revoke. The link stops working immediately. You will see access logs of who opened it and when.
